Our flagship product, the InfinityRx Claims Processor™ (ICP), is redefining how claims are adjudicated—delivering faster, smarter, and more reliable outcomes for patients and healthcare stakeholders. We're looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a small team of engineers. This is a technical leadership role. You should be comfortable reviewing code, making architectural decisions, troubleshooting production issues, and helping engineers solve complex technical problems. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineering Manager at InfinityRx The Software Engineering Manager will oversee a team of software engineers, providing technical leadership, mentoring, and performance guidance. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and managing software projects, designing and reviewing system architectures, and ensuring high-quality delivery of scalable, reliable AI platform features. The role also involves collaborating with product, data science, and customer teams to define requirements, prioritize work, and translate business needs into technical solutions. The Software Engineering Manager will promote best practices in software development, support distributed systems operations, and help build a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. What We're Looking For 5–10 years of professional software engineering experience. 2–4 years of engineering management experience. Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing software engineers. Strong backend development experience with Java. Experience building modern React applications. Experience designing and operating applications on Microsoft Azure. Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, serverless architectures, and event-driven systems. Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and distributed systems. Experience operating, debugging, and improving production systems. Strong software design, code review, and architectural decision-making skills. Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Operations, customers, and business stakeholders. Nice to Have: Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, insurance, or another regulated industry. Experience building AI-powered products or internal tooling with Python. Experience working with PHP applications. Experience working in HIPAA, SOC 2, or other compliance-driven environments. Experience working in startups or small engineering teams. What we offer: Hybrid Work Schedule: Mix of in-office (New Hyde Park,NY) Paid Time Off Compensation Base salary: $120,000–$140,000 Performance bonus: Eligible for an annual bonus, with target total compensation of up to $180,000–$200,000 based on individual and company performance.
