Technology plays a central role in their business, and they continuously invest in modern software engineering practices and cloud-native development. To expand their software engineering team, they are looking for an experienced Senior Java Engineer with a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. The Role As a Senior Java Engineer, you will develop and maintain enterprise applications that support business-critical processes across the organization. Working in multidisciplinary Agile teams, you will collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, DevOps Engineers, QA Engineers, and Business Analysts to deliver reliable and scalable software solutions. You will contribute to the design of modern microservices architectures while helping to drive technical innovation and software quality. Key Responsibilities Design and develop enterprise Java applications. Build scalable cloud-native microservices. Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven applications. Collaborate on software architecture and technical design. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Optimize application performance and scalability. Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing. Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot production issues and implement enhancements. Work closely with DevOps and Platform Engineering teams. Apply secure software development best practices. Required Technical Skills Core Java Java 17 or higher (Java 21 is an advantage) Spring Boot Spring Framework Spring Security Spring Data Hibernate / JPA API Development REST APIs OpenAPI / Swagger GraphQL (preferred) gRPC (nice to have)
