Senior Software Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our IT team and take an active role in designing, developing and improving our internal software solutions. This role is suitable for an experienced developer who can not only deliver high-quality software, but also guide technical decisions, support other developers and help improve our development practices. You will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, QA specialists and the development team on systems that are important to daily business operations. GET READY TO Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain internal software applications. Take ownership of complex development tasks and ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Work with C#, .NET, WPF, Entity Framework and SQL Server. Ensure that software development follows requirements, quality standards and internal processes. Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions. Review code written by other developers and help improve code quality. Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers. Analyse technical challenges and propose practical implementation approaches. Provide estimates and recommend suitable technical solutions. Evaluate, test and recommend improvements to software, tools and IT processes. Support business users and internal teams with system functionality when needed. Contribute to departmental planning and delivery improvements. Apply Agile and Scrum practices in daily work. WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE 4+ years of professional experience in software development. Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, WPF, Entity Framework and SQL Server . Strong experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum ways of working. Ability to make technical decisions and explain them clearly. Experience in code reviews and improving development standards. Ability to mentor less experienced developers. Strong written and spoken English. Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. Strong ownership, critical thinking and problem-solving mindset. Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment.
