Sr. Java Developer

Job Title: Senior Java Developer (Distributed Systems) Location: Pleasanton, CA Work Mode: Pleasanton, CA (5 Days Onsite), Local candidates only We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to design and scale our high-throughput, event-driven data platforms. You will lead the architecture of real-time streaming pipelines and microservices handling billions of events daily. Core Responsibilities: Design Microservices: Build scalable, fault-tolerant microservices using Java and Spring Boot. System Integration: Connect high-volume transactional data with analytical data warehouses. Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, drive code reviews, and establish CI/CD best practices. Technical Requirements: Backend Development: 7+ years of professional software development experience using Java and Spring Boot. NoSQL Databases: Strong expertise in aggregation pipelines, indexing, and sharding in MongoDB. Architecture : Heavy experience building distributed, Microservices architectures with asynchronous messaging. Nice to Have: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes. Familiarity with Apache Kafka as an event streaming backbone.
