Software Engineer – PHP & React

Position Summary We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in PHP and React.js to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable web applications, developing RESTful APIs, and delivering high-quality, maintainable code. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and enhance customer-facing products while contributing to architecture, performance, and product improvements. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and React.js. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications. Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices. Work with MySQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning. Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver new features. Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance. Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions. Continuously improve application architecture, scalability, and reliability. Required Technical Skills 8+ years of hands-on software development experience. Strong experience with PHP (Core PHP and/or Laravel). Strong experience with React.js. Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development. Good experience with MySQL. Experience with Git and version control workflows. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Experience with Node.js. Experience with GraphQL. Experience working with AWS services. Familiarity with Redis or other caching technologies. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments. Experience with Microservices architecture. Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
