Back-End Developer

Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 17:00 We are looking to hire a new Junior Backend Developer to join our team. As a backend developer, you will primarily work with PHP and Python to develop and maintain the server-side components of our web applications. You will have the opportunity to work with a rapidly growing team with challenging problems to solve at a large scale. Responsibilities Develop and maintain server-side components using PHP. Develop and maintain data manipulating scripts using Python. Develop Wordpress Plugins improving certain needs. Collaborate with the frontend development team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Build performance optimized solutions to different problems that require high scalability. Be conscious about code structure. Swiftly respond to technical issues that may arise in the backend. Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to backend development. Support and maintain existing applications, including bug fixing and performance improvements. Technical skills Strong knowledge of PHP and Python programming languages. Understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Experience with Laravel (PHP). Experience with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL. Proficient in VCS and CI/CD. Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
