Senior DevSecOps Engineer / Scrum Master

Hybrid Role – 2 days onsite per week (Wrocław, Poland OR Gothenburg, Sweden, depending on your location) Senior DevSecOps Engineer / Scrum Master 📍 Hybrid (2 days onsite in Wrocław or Gothenburg) 💼 Freelance Contract 📅 Long-term project (12+ months) 🚀 Start: September 2026 We're supporting an international client in finding an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer with Scrum Master experience to join a growing AppSec Platform team. This is not a traditional Scrum Master role . We're looking for someone who is primarily a hands-on DevSecOps/Platform Engineer who can also facilitate agile ways of working within the team. What you'll be doing As part of the AppSec Platform team, you'll help build and improve internal platforms, automations, and security capabilities that enable secure software development across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and building DevSecOps automations and internal platform tooling Improving and securing CI/CD pipelines Implementing security controls across development workflows Supporting Infrastructure as Code and cloud security initiatives Working closely with developers, architects, and security teams Facilitating Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, retrospectives, and PI Planning Helping remove blockers and continuously improve team delivery We're looking for someone with: ✅ 6+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Application Security ✅ Around 2–3 years of Scrum Master or Agile facilitation experience Strong hands-on experience with: CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or Azure DevOps) Python, Bash or PowerShell scripting AWS, Azure or GCP Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar) Secure SDLC / DevSecOps Application Security (OWASP, SAST, DAST, Secrets Management, Vulnerability Management) Nice to have Kubernetes & Containers Platform Engineering experience Security automation Scrum certification (PSM/CSM) Enterprise environment experience What's on offer Long-term freelance contract Hybrid working (2 days onsite per week in Wrocław or Gothenburg , depending on where you're based) Opportunity to work on a modern AppSec platform with the latest DevSecOps technologies Potential career progression into a Product Owner role If you're a hands-on DevSecOps Engineer who enjoys working in Agile teams and helping improve secure software delivery, I'd love to hear from you. 📩 Feel free to apply directly or send me a message for more information.
