QA Engineer — AI & Automation Data Analyst

AI QA Engineer (Recent Grad) — Remote, US/Canada Starting salary: $55,000/year. Fully remote, US or Canada only. About the Role We're looking for a recent college grad in Computer Science or UI/UX who's excited about using AI to transform how quality assurance works. You'll handle manual testing for new features, but your core mission is building AI-driven QA processes that reduce the need for manual testing over time. You'll join as we expand to iOS, building QA from scratch for a brand-new platform, with real ownership from day one. Key Responsibilities Design and execute manual test plans across our Android app, upcoming iOS app, web tools, and backend services Research, evaluate, and implement AI-powered testing tools and frameworks Build and maintain automated test suites that reduce manual testing time and increase coverage Document QA processes, test cases, and quality standards Track, report, and triage bugs with clear reproduction steps and severity assessments Report on QA metrics: test coverage, defect escape rate, automation percentage, time-to-release Participate in sprint planning, feature reviews, and release processes Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, UI/UX Design, Software Engineering, or related field (graduated within the last 2 years) Demonstrated interest in AI/ML tools — personal projects, coursework, or self-directed learning Basic programming skills (Python, JavaScript, or similar) Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication Self-starter, comfortable working independently in a remote environment Nice to Have Experience with testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git Mobile app testing experience (Android preferred) Prompt engineering or AI-assisted development experience A portfolio showing creative problem-solving Growth Path This role is a launchpad.
