Software Developer Engineer in Test - Digital Banking - 15M/English-only

In partnership with one of Japan’s largest financial institutions, the company is creating an innovative digital bank focused on supporting small and medium-sized businesses through embedded financial products. By combining SaaS and Fintech technologies, the team aims to deliver smarter, more accessible financial experiences and transform traditional back-office operations. As a Senior SDET, you will play a critical role in improving the quality and reliability of a brand-new digital banking platform. You will lead testing strategy improvements, enhance API testing frameworks, build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with engineers, product teams, and international development teams. This role provides an opportunity to define modern QA practices, introduce automation-driven quality improvements, and establish engineering standards for a high-impact financial product. Requirements: 5+ years of software development experience with strong knowledge of software testing and quality engineering practices. Experience leading development or QA teams and creating test plans, strategies, and quality processes. Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as RestAssured, Karate, or similar code-based testing frameworks. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and improving software testability. Business-level English communication skills; Japanese proficiency is a plus.
