Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

We build production software for venture-backed startups and funds, and every engineer is trained to US venture-backed startup standards. This role is on a client engagement building and modernizing a multi-surface healthcare platform. About the Role We're looking for a frontend engineer to build and improve the customer-facing application and internal admin interfaces. A core part of the work is migrating an existing plain-JavaScript React codebase to TypeScript and rebuilding key parts of the UI as the platform modernizes. Responsibilities Build and maintain user-facing features in React Lead the migration of a plain-JavaScript React codebase to TypeScript Rebuild and refactor UI components as part of the platform modernization Collaborate directly with backend engineers and design on interface and API contracts Contribute to frontend testing and code quality standards Required Qualifications 3+ years of professional frontend engineering experience Strong React and modern JavaScript expertise Demonstrated TypeScript experience, ideally including JS-to-TS migration Solid understanding of component architecture, state management, and API integration An eye for clean, usable, well-built interfaces Strong written and verbal English communication Preferred Qualifications Experience with e-commerce or storefront UI Familiarity with modern build tooling and frontend testing frameworks Exposure to AI coding tools and LLM-based development workflows
