Nexeo is currently looking for an AI Engineer – Voice & Conversational AI for one of the leading financial institutions in Belgium. As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to be part of Nexeo: International environment (Offices in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland & Canada) +450 employees Over 20% growth each year Your Role As an AI Engineer – Voice & Conversational AI , you will join a team of AI Engineers and Data Scientists developing a customer-facing Voice Bot powered by cutting-edge speech and AI technologies. You will design, develop, and deploy real-time voice solutions combining Speech-to-Text, Large Language Models, and Text-to-Speech technologies while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Key Responsibilities Design and implement real-time voice pipelines (VAD, STT, LLM orchestration, TTS) Optimize conversational experiences through turn-taking, barge-in, and latency management Integrate open-source speech models and vendor APIs Build and maintain production-ready ML pipelines Collaborate with Data Scientists and IT teams to deploy and monitor AI services Contribute to CI/CD, testing, containerization, and MLOps best practices Ensure performance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI solutions Profile Minimum 4 years of experience in AI Engineering or Software Engineering At least 2 years of experience delivering Voice AI or Speech AI solutions in production Strong Python skills and experience with Go, Rust, or C++ Experience with Whisper, NeMo, wav2vec2, or similar speech technologies Knowledge of Docker, GitLab CI/CD, PostgreSQL, and MLOps practices Experience in Agile environments Nice to Have Speaker diarization and echo cancellation Banking, Insurance, or Healthcare experience Experience with distributed systems and cloud environments Languages English: Mandatory French and/or Dutch: Nice to have Working for Nexeo A very attractive salary package Interesting career opportunities Ambitious goals are encouraged Exposure to innovative AI projects A lot of fun If you're passionate about Voice AI, Conversational AI, and real-time speech technologies , this role is made for you! #AI #VoiceAI #ConversationalAI #MachineLearning #MLOps #Python #SpeechToText #TextToSpeech #LLM #Belgium 🚀
