The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) is currently seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our Application Development team. In this role, the QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by executing comprehensive testing strategies. The Quality Assurance Analyst will play an important role in maintaining and improving software quality throughout the development lifecycle. Reporting to the Manager, Application Development, the QA Analyst has the following primary responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications. Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project documentation. Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing to identify software defects and ensure compliance with quality standards. Execute test cases manually and/or using automated testing tools. Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency. Identify opportunities for test automation and implement automation strategies. Document and track defects, providing detailed information to development teams for resolution. Work closely with developers to ensure timely and effective defect resolution. Collaborate with developers, managers, and business stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements. Leverage technology to enhance the speed of testing efforts and the quality of systems we manage. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field with at least two years of experience as a QA Analyst. Test Automation experience is preferred. A strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools and processes is required.
