AI Developer Job Type: Permanent Location: Dublin, 2 days/week onsite Salary: €80K base + Benefits Are you passionate about building real-world AI solutions that go beyond simple API integrations? We're recruiting an AI Developer to join an innovative mobility technology company that develops market-leading software used by transport operators around the world. This is an opportunity to design and deliver cutting-edge Agentic AI solutions, production-grade RAG pipelines , and scalable backend services in a collaborative, product-focused environment. As an AI Developer , you'll play a key role in shaping the next generation of AI-powered products, working with modern LLM frameworks and cloud-native technologies to deliver intelligent, reliable, and high-performance applications. Responsibilities Design and develop Agentic AI workflows using frameworks such as PydanticAI or LangChain . Build and optimise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for fast, accurate access to proprietary data. Develop robust backend APIs using FastAPI (preferred) or Django . Design and manage relational databases and vector databases, including PostgreSQL/MySQL and platforms such as Pinecone, Milvus, or Weaviate . Improve AI quality through testing, observability, optimisation, and modern engineering practices. About You 3-5 years' commercial software development experience with expert-level Python . Hands-on experience building LLM , RAG , or Agentic AI applications. Strong knowledge of FastAPI or Django, asynchronous programming, and REST APIs. Experience working with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search. Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, prompt engineering, or AI observability tools such as LangSmith or Arize Phoenix would be an advantage.
