TSR Consulting is currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Python Developer for an opportunity in Tampa, FL Position Title: Junior Python Developer Location: Tampa, FL Job Type: Hybrid – 3 days to office Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and it is subject to change. Expected Duration: 6+ Months (Right to Hire) – GC/Citizen/GC EAD Pay Range: Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). We are seeking a Junior Python Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, data engineering, and machine learning frameworks and a proven ability to build and scale end-to-end ML prototypes to production while supporting critical applications . Responsibilities: Perform data mining and derive insights from large unstructured datasets. Develop end-to-end machine learning prototypes and scale them for production, including data cleaning, preprocessing, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and prediction generation. Design and implement machine learning algorithms for data classification. Build interactive dashboards and integrate them with training and validation pipelines. Assist with product or component development within the technology domain. Provide third-line support, identify root causes, and respond to system, application, or networking issues. Support projects and deliver status updates to project managers or senior engineers. Partner with development teams to define engineering and application/system requirements and processes. Assess risk, uphold compliance, and follow policy while managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in Python with 2–5 years of relevant experience. Experience with Big Data and data wrangling at scale. Frameworks and libraries: PyTorch, Scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas, Seaborn, Matplotlib, Plotly, Keras, Statsmodels. Tools and services: Docker, AWS, Apache Spark, Git. Languages and platforms: Python, R, MATLAB, SQL; Flask and Tableau for applications and visualization. Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, statistical analysis, data modeling and evaluation, visualization, and model deployment. Clear and concise written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently, prioritize, and own project components in a matrixed, virtual team environment. Preferred Skills: Experience in financial services or large, complex, global environments. Background with Agile or Scrum practices.
