🚀 Hiring: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (AWS / React / Node.js) 6+ month contract Chicago, IL (HYBRID) Contact: Mary at [email protected] Our client is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join its Digital & Technology team focused on building innovative, scalable platforms that power customer and employee experiences worldwide. This is an opportunity to work on modern cloud-native applications in a highly collaborative environment alongside product managers, UX designers, platform engineers, and DevOps teams. 🔹 What You’ll Do: • Design, develop, and support scalable full-stack cloud applications in AWS using a serverless-first approach • Build modern front-end applications using React, TypeScript, hooks, and functional components • Develop backend APIs and services using Node.js, Java, Go, and TypeScript • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Serverless Framework • Lead technical discussions, mentor engineers, and contribute to architecture decisions • Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud modernization initiatives • Collaborate cross-functionally with product and UX teams to deliver impactful customer-facing solutions • Drive end-to-end feature ownership from ideation through deployment and optimization • Help modernize legacy systems into cloud-native, event-driven architectures 🔹 Required Experience: ✅ 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience ✅ Strong experience with: React, Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, SQS, and EventBridge CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and deployment pipelines Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Serverless Framework) REST APIs and event-driven architectures Cloud databases including DynamoDB and Snowflake Containerization technologies like Docker and AWS ECS/Fargate ✅ Experience working in Agile environments ✅ Strong communication and problem-solving skills 🔹 Nice to Have: • Experience with relational databases such as DB2 or Redshift • AWS Certifications (Developer, Solutions Architect, DevOps) • Snowflake Certification 🎓 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent hands-on experience.
