Lead Java Developer

Position: Lead Java Developer (Java + Kafka) Location: Whippany, NJ Work Mode: In-Person (Day 1 Onsite) Employment Type: W2 Only Experience Required: 15+ Years Note: No c2c/only w2/ In-Person required Required Skills: Strong experience in Java (preferably Java 17+) Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Integration Expertise in building scalable backend services and REST APIs Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle or other relational databases Experience with Apache Kafka and MQ, including producers, consumers, and event-driven architecture Experience with GitLab , CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks such as JUnit , Cucumber , and integration testing Strong understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, deployment, and production support Experience in SWIFT, Payments, Trade, or Settlement domain is highly preferred
