This role is ideal for developers who are passionate about backend development, scalable systems, and modern cloud-native technologies. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java/Kotlin frameworks. Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend applications. Work with databases to design efficient data models, queries, and indexing strategies. Develop event-driven services using messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions. Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance improvements. Support deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud-native environments. Required Qualifications ✅ 1–3 years of experience in Backend Engineering. ✅ Strong programming skills in Java (17+) and/or Kotlin . ✅ Hands-on experience with Spring Boot or Quarkus in production environments. ✅ Understanding of reactive programming concepts (Project Reactor, RxJava, Mutiny). ✅ Experience with database design, indexing, and query optimization. ✅ Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes . ✅ Knowledge of REST API development. Preferred Qualifications ⭐ Experience with Apache Kafka and/or RabbitMQ . ⭐ Understanding of distributed systems concepts (Saga, CQRS, microservices). ⭐ Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB. ⭐ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions). ⭐ Exposure to monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry. ⭐ Experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, JetBrains AI).
