About The Role We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join our client's technology team in South Manchester. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the CEO and senior leadership, contributing significantly to shaping the company's technological direction and product development. The successful candidate will have genuine ownership of their projects, influence technical decisions, and work on initiatives that directly impact the company's growth trajectory. This role involves designing and developing modern, responsive web applications primarily using React, deploying solutions with Vercel, and integrating advanced features such as AI-powered functionalities. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and collaborative skills, including: Proven commercial experience developing applications using React. Strong proficiency with Supabase, including authentication, databases, and backend services. Experience deploying applications with Vercel. Solid understanding of API integration and development. Hands-on experience working with SQL databases and writing efficient queries. Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Playwright or similar tools. Proficiency in Python for supporting backend services and automation tasks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment. Desirable qualifications include experience working with AI technologies, familiarity with AI APIs and tools, TypeScript skills, and prior experience within fintech, lending, or financial services sectors. Responsibilities Design and develop modern, responsive web applications utilizing React to ensure optimal user experience across devices. Develop, test, and deploy applications seamlessly using Vercel, ensuring high availability and performance. Build scalable backend solutions with Supabase, including authentication, database management, storage, and backend services. Integrate internal and third-party APIs to enhance application functionality and data exchange. Create automated tests using Playwright to maintain code quality and facilitate continuous integration. Support backend services and automation workflows using Python, contributing to the overall system robustness. Write efficient, scalable SQL queries to manage and retrieve data effectively. Collaborate closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions aligned with business goals.
