Frontend Engineer (React)

Frontend Engineer - React We're partnering with an innovative technology company in Ghent that is looking to strengthen its engineering team with a talented mid to senior-level developer. You'll be joining a collaborative environment where you'll have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, work on exciting products, and contribute to scalable frontend architecture. What You'll Be Doing: Developing and maintaining modern web applications using React and TypeScript Building responsive, user-friendly interfaces with a focus on performance and accessibility Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code Contributing to architecture discussions and technical improvements Mentoring junior team members where appropriate What We're Looking For 5+ years of commercial frontend development experience 4+ experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript Experience working with REST APIs and frontend state management solutions Good understanding of responsive design principles and web performance optimisation Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI/CD practices Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Nice to Have Experience with Next.js Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Experience working within Agile environments Interest in UI/UX best practices What's on Offer?
