Role Overview Join a dynamic software development team to build innovative solutions for the private equity industry. You will contribute to both frontend and backend development, focusing on delivering high-quality features using modern technologies. Responsibilities Develop and ship new features with a focus on code quality and maintainability Collaborate with experienced team members to select optimal technical solutions Contribute to architecture decisions, working across UI and backend systems Explore advanced areas such as graph theory, visualization, and machine learning Participate in agile-like workflows emphasizing thoughtful planning and quality over speed Engage in code reviews, pair programming, and team discussions to foster a collaborative environment Qualifications & Skills 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering, working on both frontend and backend Proficiency with Node.js, React.js, and TypeScript at an advanced level Experience with PostgreSQL, testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Playwright), and familiarity with Figma Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Ability to work remotely within UK business hours and adapt across cultures DevOps experience and understanding of product-based company workflows are a plus Positive attitude, high EQ, and a passion for engineering excellence
