About Your New Job We are seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to join a Digital Security engineering team in Dublin. This is a senior technical leadership role where you will help design, develop, and modernise customer authentication and identity management platforms used across enterprise-scale digital services. You will work closely with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable applications while providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering excellence. This is an opportunity to influence architecture, champion modern development practices, and contribute to the evolution of cloud-native security solutions. Applicants must reside in Ireland and hold EU Citizenship or Stamp 4 visa (Stamp1g not accepted) What Skills You Need 10+ years' experience developing enterprise software applications Strong Java development experience including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, J2EE, Maven, and REST APIs Frontend expertise with Angular, including Nx Workspace, component libraries, and modern web architecture Strong understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Experience designing and delivering cloud-native applications and enterprise solutions Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub/Git Experience with event-driven architectures and backend service integration Strong understanding of web architecture and scalable application design Proven ability to lead technical discussions, mentor engineers, and perform code reviews Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business teams Experience working within Agile software development environments Desirable Experience with GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised environments Experience with AWS and cloud migration initiatives Experience using monitoring tools such as Datadog or Splunk Knowledge of cybersecurity, identity management, Single Sign-On (SSO), or Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) platforms Experience with JUnit, JMeter, and automated testing frameworks What’s on Offer Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale cybersecurity and authentication platforms Principal-level engineering role with significant technical leadership responsibilities Exposure to modern cloud technologies and enterprise architecture Competitive daily rate up to €600 per day and long-term project potential
