Java Developer

Our client,an international compagny is looking for Senior Application and Software Developer (Java) Minimum 10 years IT experience · At least 5 years as software/application developer · Java Your mission: • Development, configuration, maintenance and documentation of software components based on the applicable design specifications. • Development and integration of technological components. • Integration with other applications. • Development of interoperability components in accordance with the interoperability framework and integration of reusable components from other systems. • Development of unit test specifications and performing these using the applicable toolset and infrastructure environment. • Design automation testing scripts for conducting unit testing and integration testing in development environment. • Participation in code reviews to ensure adherence to best development practices, improve code quality and security, and facilitate knowledge sharing. • Guiding and mentoring junior developers to foster skill growth, and maintain technical cohesion across the development team. • Implementation of user requirements. • Assist in the preparation/maintenance of technical documentation for components during their development, and other technical documents including installation and operation manuals. • Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system. Knowledge and Skills • Ability to understand the IT design models and specifications to be used as a basis for the programming. • In depth knowledge of the applicable programming environment considered as being mainstream for the IT project to which the IT developer is assigned: Java is the required programming language for this profile. • Good knowledge of the development of web and multi-tiers web applications, and mobile applications. • Good knowledge of the web services stack used in the selected technology. • Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments. • Experience and willingness of working in an international/multicultural environment. • Development frameworks and product-specific technologies relevant to the EES / Webservices / API-PNR landscape, built primarily on Java : Spring Boot, Kafka / IBM Event Stream, PostgreSQL and Istio (Application specifics); and Magnolia CMS, IBM Sterling Transformation Extender (ITX Parser/Formatter), ForgeRock/OpenID/OAuth 2.0, API Connect and IBM MQ Advanced (Webservices specifics). Experience • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, including 5 years of experience as a software and application developer. • Minimum one year of active work experience with CASE tools or equivalent tools for modelling and development. • Minimum 5 years in Java (the required programming language); good knowledge and experience in using development frameworks related to the products/programming languages used (e.g. Spring Boot, Kafka/IBM eu-LISA LISA/2025/DPS/0008 ITS – MC 01 Profile 5.11 – Senior Application and Software Developer (Java) Tender Technical Specifications (TTS) INTERNAL DAY-TO-DAY – Competition 01 under LISA/2025/DPS/0008 ITS Page 2 Event Stream, PostgreSQL, Istio, Magnolia CMS, IBM Sterling ITX, ForgeRock/OpenID/OAuth 2.0, API Connect, IBM MQ Advanced, as applicable to the assigned component).
