About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Developer to join our talented team at GrabJobs. As a Front-End Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our SaaS applications that support critical financial transactions such as tax collection, electronic payments, and bond auctions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to create seamless, efficient, and engaging user interfaces. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a deep understanding of JavaScript frameworks, testing methodologies, and modern build tools, ready to contribute to projects that have a tangible impact on our clients and the company as a whole. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in front-end development, with a strong command of JavaScript and modern frameworks such as Vue.js or React. Expertise in JavaScript unit testing frameworks like Jest and experience with browser-automation testing tools such as Playwright are essential. Knowledge of TypeScript is required, along with familiarity with build tools like Webpack or Vite. Additional valued skills include technical leadership, collaboration with designers and business analysts, and experience in implementing embeddable UI widgets similar to Stripe Elements. Exposure to full-stack development, particularly in working with OpenAPI, is a plus. The candidate should demonstrate a passion for adopting best practices, exploring new technologies, and contributing to a forward-thinking development environment. Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable front-end solutions that enhance user experience and meet business requirements.
