Junior Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug mission-critical software using modern languages like Java. • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle within Agile frameworks. • Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git for workflow management and team collaboration. • Create and maintain essential documentation and specifications for design, development, and testing. • Identify and proactively address potential technical roadblocks. • Plan and estimate development tasks, contributing to performance metric improvements. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience. • US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance or higher. • Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming. • Proficiency in JavaScript and JS frameworks like React. • Demonstrated ability to apply software development process fundamentals. • A strong, self-motivated desire to learn new technologies and techniques.
