Java Full Stack Developer (Java FSD) Location: Mississauga, ON, Duration: Full Time Opportunity , Hybrid 3 Days a week (Banking Experience Strong) Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Java Full Stack Developer with 6+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain high-quality enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, along with hands-on experience in Agile environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Java 17, Spring Boot, and Gradle Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for high performance and reliability Integrate applications with internal and external systems Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and other testing frameworks Apply design patterns to ensure clean, maintainable, and efficient code Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback Collaborate with developers, QA, and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer Strong proficiency in Java Core 17 (mandatory) Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices Strong experience with JUnit Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and SDLC processes Good problem-solving and debugging skills Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team Secondary / Preferred Skills Experience with OpenShift deployment Knowledge of SQL and database concepts Familiarity with JIRA (task management) and Bitbucket (code repository) Understanding of CI/CD practices
