About the role We're looking for a Junior Developer to join our growing E-commerce Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their development career who wants to gain hands-on experience building and improving a high-traffic international e-commerce website. You'll work alongside experienced developers, marketers, designers, and project managers to develop new features, customize Shopify themes, optimize website performance, and support the continuous improvement of our online stores. Your responsibilities Upload and maintain website content, ensuring pages, products, and promotional materials are implemented accurately in line with design and business requirements. Assist in developing and maintaining our Shopify website. Customise Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Build and maintain landing pages and website components. Implement new website functionalities and enhancements. Fix bugs and troubleshoot technical issues. Optimise website speed, performance, and user experience. Integrate third-party applications and services. Collaborate with designers to turn UI designs into responsive web pages. Work closely with marketing and project management teams to support campaigns and website improvements. Test new functionalities and ensure high-quality implementation. Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development skills. Keep documentation up to date.  Who you are Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with Shopify or a willingness to learn the platform quickly. Knowledge of Shopify Liquid is a strong advantage. Basic understanding of responsive web design. Familiarity with Git or another version control system is a plus. Understanding of APIs and third-party integrations is an advantage. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. Eagerness to learn new technologies and best practices. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability. Strong organisational and self-management skills. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Good command of English, both written and spoken. Nice to have Personal or university projects built with HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Experience with Shopify apps or themes. Experience with React, Vue.js, or modern JavaScript frameworks. Basic knowledge of SEO and website performance optimization.
