HEAD OF ENGINEERING 📍 Remote (UK) 💵 up to £130,000 HEAD OF ENGINEERING This is a great opportunity to join a high‑growth organisation where you can take ownership of the Engineering function and play a critical role in scaling a sophisticated AI‑driven platform used by leading pharmaceutical companies. THE ROLE: You will take ownership of the Engineering function, providing leadership across technical delivery, people management and engineering operations. Key responsibilities include: Leading and scaling the Engineering team as the business grows Establishing strong engineering processes, standards and ways of working Providing architectural oversight and technical direction across the platform Ensuring high‑quality, on‑time delivery of complex, enterprise‑grade projects Developing, mentoring and supporting senior engineers and technical leaders YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: You will bring strong capability in: Hands‑on engineering leadership within fast‑paced startup environments Backend, data engineering or full‑stack systems at scale Technical strategy, architecture and long‑term platform design Managing and empowering highly capable senior engineers Cross‑functional delivery, stakeholder management and prioritisation Experience with KGs (knowledge graphs) and Neo4J THE BENEFITS: You will receive a salary up to £130,000 depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
