Job ID: 26-20971 Job Title: Junior Business Analyst (Healthcare / PHIPA) Location: Toronto, ON (HYBRID) Duration: 8+ Months Client: Public Sector Job Description Seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support clinician onboarding and access validation for eReferral and digital health services. The role involves requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, business process analysis, HIC validation, documentation, and ensuring compliance with PHIPA and healthcare standards. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders. Validate Health Information Custodian (HIC) information and legal onboarding requirements. Categorize and map clinician users to approved HIC types. Create business process maps, functional documentation, presentations, and briefing notes. Support stakeholder engagement, issue resolution, reporting, and onboarding activities. Ensure compliance with PHIPA and Ontario digital health policies. Must-Have Skills Strong understanding of PHIPA (consent, collection, use, disclosure, and safeguarding of PHI). Knowledge of Health Information Custodians (HICs) and their roles under PHIPA. Understanding of the healthcare system and digital health/EHR services. Experience with requirements gathering, business analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management. Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Preferred Public Sector experience (preferred). Knowledge of information management principles and business analysis methodologies.
