We’re seeking an Intermediate Front End Developer to support our client’s enterprise web development team. This is a contract to hire role located in Houston, Wilmington or Columbus with potential to extend. This role focuses on modern web interfaces, AI integration, and delivering high-traffic websites. Intermediate Front End Developer Responsibilities: Develop and implement web components, templates, and workflows using enterprise content management platforms, prioritizing high performance and scalability. Create accessible, responsive user interfaces based on wireframes and functional specifications, utilizing HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Integrate front-end interfaces with back-end systems and RESTful APIs to ensure seamless functionality. Troubleshoot cross-browser and cross-platform issues to deliver consistent user experiences. Collaborate with teams on deployment, monitoring, and operational improvements, incorporating automation and AI-assisted analysis where applicable. Intermediate Front End Developer Qualifications: Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+), with familiarity in SASS/Less preferred. Experience with AI prompt engineering and building/refining developer assistants and workflows supporting software delivery. Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue is a plus. Prior experience working with enterprise content management concepts, especially with AEM or comparable WCM platforms.
