Full Stack Developer

Job description   We’re hiring a Lead Full Stack Developer to join Earthstorm Media. With a competitive  salary for a developer ready to step up and lead a team. You will work a mixture of remote, and on-site for collaboration, planning and team sessions.  You’ll be building and evolving digital products for ambitious brands, working alongside designers, strategists and technologists who care about doing things properly. This isn’t a maintenance role. It’s a progression role.  What You’ll Be Doing: 🧑‍💻  Building and evolving PHP-based applications  Developing modern, responsive front-ends  Improving system architecture and performance  Solving meaningful technical problems  Collaborating and sharing ideas directly with clients and internal teams  Leading a small team of remote developers with QC and performance reviews  Assisting the Head of Operations with resourcing and scheduling    Required Skills & Experience ✅  You’ll ideally have:  5+ years’ professional experience with PHP (7+ / 8+)  Experience with native JavaScript  Experience working with a modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue, Alpine, or Angular)  Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred, MySQL welcome)  Understanding of core design principles: DRY, SOLID, separation of concerns  Understanding or exposure to MVC frameworks and application architecture  Strong knowledge of HTML5 / CSS3 and modern responsive practices  Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in improving systems  Confidence communicating with clients and teams — explaining decisions and contributing to discussions    Nice to Have (But Not Essential)   Experience with Laravel, Symfony, or other modern PHP frameworks  Experience refactoring or maintaining legacy monolithic PHP codebases  Experience planning, building or supporting Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)  Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or modern deployment workflows  Exposure to Linux environments, SSH, and DevOps-style workflows  Experience integrating payment APIs (especially Stripe)    What We Offer 💸     Competitive salary, depending on experience  Possible Hybrid working solutions Meaningful technical challenges - not repetitive maintenance work  A creative, collaborative environment  Exposure to modern tools, architecture and evolving systems  Private health insurance (Vitality)  A chance for a career within a fast growth business   If 2026 is the year you level up your career, this could be your move. 🚀  👉 Apply here: https://lnkd.in/e36Mp5i2
