Role Description As a Frontend Developer at DotSwan, you will design and implement user-facing features for web applications, ensuring high performance, usability, and accessibility. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and project managers to translate requirements into responsive, scalable interfaces and maintain a consistent visual and technical standard across projects. Daily tasks include building and optimizing reusable components, integrating APIs, troubleshooting and debugging UI issues, and staying current with modern frontend frameworks and best practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Arnhem, where you will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality digital solutions for a variety of clients. Qualifications Strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) and HTML/CSS. Experience with Responsive Web Design and cross-browser compatibility for web applications. Solid understanding of Web Development principles and workflows, including version control (e.g., Git). Familiarity with Software Development practices such as testing, debugging, and continuous integration. Basic knowledge of Back-End Web Development and API integration is an advantage. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work on-site in Arnhem, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks effectively. Interest in learning new technologies, improving development processes, and contributing to high-quality user experiences.
