Description
Python Cloud Engineers with Revvity Signals or Scientific Workflows experience. Our client is a Global Pharmaceutical company who are seeking an experienced Python Cloud Engineer to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions across AWS environments. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with deep expertise in PaaS/SaaS architectures, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and modern software engineering practices. You will play a key role in architecting end-to-end solutions, implementing disaster recovery strategies, leading API development, and exploring practical applications of Generative AI and Agent-based AI within engineering workflows. Key Responsibilities Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure cloud-native services and microservices in Python Design and implement scalable PaaS/SaaS architectures, including multi-tenancy, API gateways, service meshes, and observability frameworks Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) with automated testing and progressive delivery strategies Lead containerization and orchestration initiatives using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS) Implement automation across build, test, deployment, and operational workflows Apply modern web engineering principles (REST/GraphQL APIs, event-driven architectures, WebSockets, caching, CDN optimization) Design and validate AWS disaster recovery strategies (RPO/RTO, multi-region failover, chaos testing) Develop and test APIs, including Postman collections and CI/CD automation with Newman Integrate and evaluate Generative AI and Agent-based AI use cases within development and product workflows Establish observability using CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana Ensure SDLC best practices including secure coding, code reviews, test strategies, and release management Conduct performance, resilience, and security assessments Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor engineering teams Execute workflows within Revvity Signals Vitro Vivo Required Experience & Skills Proven experience designing and operating scalable PaaS/SaaS solutions Strong hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes (deployments, ingress, service mesh, autoscaling, cluster security) Deep understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code, secrets management, and secure provisioning Demonstrated experience building robust CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and rollback strategies Strong foundation in software engineering principles (DDD, Clean Architecture, SOLID, Twelve-Factor Apps) Experience implementing observability, SLOs/SLAs, and production monitoring Please apply in the first instance or get in touch with Edward Erekosima for more information. #TECH We are an equal opportunities Recruitment Business and Agency.
