Software Engineer

Software Engineer (Frontend / Backend / Full Stack) We're working with a leading global technology consultancy that is looking to hire talented Software Engineers to join its growing engineering practice. The Role: You'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, building scalable applications and services using modern engineering practices and cloud technologies. Working within agile teams, you'll help deliver high-quality software while contributing to architecture, automation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Build cloud-native and serverless solutions Develop secure, scalable and high-performing applications Deploy applications using containers and CI/CD pipelines Create automated testing including unit, integration and contract tests Monitor and improve application performance and reliability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions Skills & Experience: We're looking for experience with several of the following: Commercial experience with one or more of: Java C# Python Go TypeScript Frontend frameworks such as: React Angular Vue Svelte Cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP also considered) Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK or Pulumi) CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI or ArgoCD Building secure, accessible and performant applications Desirable Experience NoSQL technologies such as Elasticsearch Debugging and resolving complex technical issues Delivering small to medium-sized technical projects Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills What's On Offer: Competitive salary Excellent benefits package Private medical insurance Up to 25 days annual leave plus additional volunteering days Ongoing training and career development Exposure to modern technologies and cloud engineering Opportunity to work on large-scale digital transformation projects Flexible hybrid working Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the work, successful applicants must be eligible for SC Security Clearance , requiring 5 years of continuous UK address history , typically with no periods of 30 consecutive days or more spent outside the UK .
