Job Description As one of Clove’s first engineering hires, you’ll own features end-to-end across consumer apps, adviser platforms, and internal systems. Working without PMs in a small, senior team, you will design clean APIs and polished UIs using Go and React to build a more accessible future for financial advice. True product ownership in a "no-PM" environment where you solve ambiguous problems from first principles and see your work directly impact users' lives. What You Will Do Build and ship features across the entire product surface, including the consumer application, adviser platform, and internal workflow orchestration tools. Design and implement resilient APIs and thoughtful UIs using a modular Go monolith and React frontends deployed on Google Cloud Platform. Establish foundational engineering patterns, quality bars, and testing conventions that will define the technical culture as the company scales. The ideal candidate Strong full-stack fundamentals with the ability to navigate both API design and polished UI development, ideally with experience in Go or React. Product-minded self-starter who thrives in 0→1 environments and has a track record of shipping impactful features based on user feedback and data.
