About the Role Modulout is offering a supervised learning opportunity for an undergraduate student interested in web development, WordPress/PHP projects, and digital process improvement. You will gain practical exposure to website development and maintenance while developing skills in workflow analysis, requirements documentation, improvement planning, and digital project delivery. Guidance, feedback, and regular check-ins will be provided throughout the placement. Learning Activities May Include • Assisting with WordPress website updates, maintenance, configuration, and improvements • Developing familiarity with PHP back-end tasks and front-end updates using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript • Participating in website testing across browsers and devices, including identifying bugs or plugin issues • Learning to analyse website workflows and digital processes for usability and efficiency improvements • Supporting the documentation of business requirements, processes, technical changes, and recommendations • Researching relevant plugins, automations, and digital solutions under guidance • Exploring website performance, accessibility, SEO, and customer-experience considerations • Participating in remote meetings, task reviews, and digital project coordination activities About You • Currently studying business, IT, information systems, digital business, business analytics, or a related field • Interested in web development, digital systems, business analysis, and process improvement • Familiar with WordPress and interested in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Organised, analytical, reliable, and comfortable working remotely • Able to communicate clearly and document findings, requirements, and recommendations Desirable Skills Interest or familiarity with WordPress, PHP, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, website testing, process mapping, requirements gathering, SEO, analytics, and remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Trello, Asana, Zoom, Google Workspace, or Microsoft Teams. Internship Details Location: Remote (Non-U.S. applicants are welcome) Duration: Approximately 240 hours Commitment: 2–3 days per week Start date: TBC End date: TBC Payment: Unpaid internship placement What You Will Gain Practical, supervised experience in web development, WordPress/PHP projects, business analysis, digital process improvement, remote collaboration, and digital project delivery.
