Software Development Engineer III / Onsite / Redmond, WA From the client: ***Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.*** Our client is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer III to join an innovative engineering team supporting one of the world's most ambitious satellite connectivity initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to build a next-generation developer platform that enables engineering teams to deploy software faster, improve release quality, and leverage AI-driven insights across mission-critical systems. Contract Duration: 12 Months Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of professional software development experience across the full software development lifecycle 3+ years of software architecture and system design experience for scalable, reliable applications 3+ years developing large-scale distributed, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, or embedded applications Strong programming experience with one or more of the following: C#, C++, Java, Perl 2+ years of front-end development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS 3+ years building applications on AWS or other cloud platforms Experience with code reviews, source control, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and production support What You Will Be Doing As an SDE III, you'll help design and build a unified software platform that streamlines release management, automation, and analytics across engineering teams. You'll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve software quality, deployment reliability, and engineering efficiency.
