SDET Level 1 and Level 2

Hiring: SDET Level 1 & Level 2 | Scottsdale, AZ (Onsite) | Contract-to-Hire 📍 Location: Scottsdale, AZ 85255 (Onsite: Monday–Thursday) 📄 Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or transfer employment visas at this time. We are looking for Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) Level 1 and Level 2 with 2–8 years of experience in QA automation and software testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in backend automation, API testing, SQL/database validation, and test automation frameworks . Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for backend services and APIs. Perform SQL database testing and validate complex queries. Execute API testing across microservices-based applications. Validate JSON/XML payloads, web services, and JMS messaging. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers throughout the SDLC. Participate in test planning, test design, execution, and reporting. Manage source code using Git and Bitbucket. Support testing activities in Linux/Unix environments. Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution. Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing processes. Required Qualifications 2–8 years of experience in QA Automation or SDET roles. Strong experience with SQL and database validation. Hands-on experience with API testing and backend automation. Experience testing microservices-based applications . Proficiency in Java or another object-oriented programming language. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI . Familiarity with Git , Bitbucket , and version control. Basic Linux/Unix command-line experience. Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software testing best practices. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Selenium TestNG or JUnit Maven or Gradle Jenkins or CI/CD pipelines Docker or Kubernetes AWS or cloud testing experience
