API Engineer

API Engineer Design, develop, and maintain API-driven application services and scalable backend integrations for AI/ML business applications. Develop integration layers connecting business applications with predictive models and AI/ML solutions. Work closely with Data Science, AI, and business domain teams to operationalize machine learning models. Build scalable backend services using Python and/or Golang (Golang preferred). Design and implement REST APIs and microservices architectures. Deploy, support, and troubleshoot containerized applications in cloud-native environments (GKE/OpenShift). Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitFlow, and EPLX. Participate in architecture and technical design discussions, providing guidance and leadership. Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of deployed services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Tachyon, Data Domain Owner) to deliver business solutions. Integrate enterprise applications with AI/ML capabilities, including NLP, classification, and clustering models. Utilize DevOps skills for application delivery, cloud deployments, and continuous integration. Preferred exposure to Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, predictive AI/ML models, and GCP. Strong application development experience required; NOT seeking pure Java, ETL, or data-only engineers.
