Frontend Developer

6 Month Contract, Possible Extension | Remote US Overview We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with 6–8 years of experience building modern web applications. This role will focus on developing net-new web features, enhancing the buyer experience, and helping unify multiple marketplace platforms into a cohesive user experience. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor with excellent front-end fundamentals and a passion for building scalable, high-quality applications. Responsibilities Build and maintain modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and Kotlin. Develop new customer-facing features with a focus on performance, usability, and scalability. Contribute to the consolidation of multiple marketplace experiences into a unified platform. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve and enhance the buyer-side experience. Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-impact features. Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices. Required Qualifications: 6–8 years of professional software development experience. Strong experience with React (any version). Proficiency in TypeScript and Kotlin. Experience writing and maintaining unit tests. Strong understanding of front-end fundamentals, including JavaScript, web performance, and application architecture. Proven ability to operate as a strong individual contributor in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have: Experience with Java. Experience with Playwright for integration/end-to-end testing. Experience with Next.js. Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.
