Job Title: Node.js Developer Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) Job Type: Longterm Contract Position Overvi ewWe are seeking an experienced Node.js Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks, asynchronous programming, and database integration, and is comfortable working in an Agile environment collaborating with cross-functional team s. What You'll DoDesign, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and related framewor ks.Build and maintain RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services for internal and external consumpti on.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practic es.Integrate with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, optimizing queries and data models for performan ce.Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices across servic es.Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth end-to-end delive ry.Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to performance tuni ng.Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliabili ty.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectiv es. What You B ring4+ years of hands-on experience as a Node.js Develo per.Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and asynchronous programming (Promises, async/await, Event Lo op).Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or Fast ify.Experience working with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databa ses.Familiarity with ORMs/ODMs like Sequelize, TypeORM, Prisma, or Mongo ose.Experience building and consuming REST APIs; GraphQL experience a p lus.Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Dock er).Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) prefer red.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication ski lls.Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environme nts. Nice-to- HavesExperience with microservices architec ture.Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Bul lMQ).Experience with WebSockets/real-time applications (Socket .io).Exposure to Kubernetes or serverless deployments (AWS Lam bda).
