Backend Developer - Python

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Python Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, backend frameworks, API development, and database management, along with a solid understanding of modern software development practices. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend systems and services using Python. Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices for web and mobile applications. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams. Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability. Integrate third-party services, APIs, and data sources. Implement security and data protection best practices. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning. Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration and deployment. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Python (3x). Knowledge of NoSQL databases: MongoDB / Redis. Experience with ORM tools (e. g., Django ORM, SQLAlchemy). Familiarity with microservices architecture. Experience with version control systems (Git). Understanding of message queues / task queues: RabbitMQ / Kafka / Celery. Knowledge of web servers and deployment: Nginx, Gunicorn, Docker. Software Engineering Practices Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms. Experience with unit testing frameworks (PyTest, unittest).
