Description

The client is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, and Conversational AI solutions that enable modern citizen-facing contact center services. The successful candidate will build AI-powered virtual assistants, AI agents, conversational IVR, and self-service capabilities using Amazon Connect, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Lex, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AWS cloud technologies while ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, accessible, and aligned with Responsible AI principles. Key Responsibilities Develop, configure, implement, and support enterprise AI, Generative AI, and Conversational AI solutions. Design and develop AI-powered conversational IVR, virtual assistants, voicebots, AI agents, and customer self-service capabilities. Build and support AI Agents using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP), tool-calling frameworks, and enterprise knowledge repositories. Develop and optimize prompts, prompt templates, prompt orchestration, retrieval mechanisms, and AI guardrails. Configure Amazon Lex bots, including intents, slots, utterances, fulfillment logic, conversation flows, and escalation mechanisms. Integrate AI solutions with contact center platforms, enterprise applications, APIs, workflow systems, knowledge repositories, and cloud services. Develop technical specifications, implementation documentation, deployment procedures, and operational support documentation. Participate in testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous optimization of AI solutions. Ensure compliance with organizational security, privacy, accessibility, and Responsible AI standards. Must-Have Qualifications 8+ years of software development, application integration, and enterprise solution design experience. 5+ years of experience developing AI/ML solutions. 5+ years implementing Amazon Connect contact center solutions. 5+ years implementing Conversational AI, IVR, or Contact Center solutions. Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). Hands-on experience with OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Meta Llama, or equivalent foundation models. Strong experience designing and implementing Amazon Connect, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Lex, conversational IVR, voicebots, virtual assistants, and Customer AI Agents. Experience with Contact Lens, Contact Trace Records (CTR), reporting, analytics, and customer journey optimization. Strong AWS experience with Amazon Connect, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Lex, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Amazon S3, CloudWatch, EventBridge, and IAM. Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, Serverless Architecture, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Knowledge of Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Azure AI Foundry, Google Vertex AI, or equivalent AI platforms. Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, NoSQL, Git, GitLab, and Jenkins. Experience with enterprise application development, API integration, Agile delivery, testing, production support, troubleshooting, automation, and technical documentation.
