React Software Engineer

We’re seeking a talented React Software Engineer to join our team of IT Professionals on behalf of one of our major clients. About the Role We are looking for a Junior to Mid-Level React Software Engineer to join our client's team, a consulting company delivering a large-scale transformation project for a major banking institution. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale enterprise project, enhance your technical skills, and contribute to the digital transformation of the banking sector. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using React.js and modern front-end technologies. Build reusable UI components and contribute to scalable and maintainable front-end architectures. Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and back-end services. Collaborate with back-end developers, business analysts, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions. Translate business and functional requirements into responsive, user-friendly interfaces. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following established coding standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities. Contribute to the continuous improvement of application performance, usability, and reliability. Work within an Agile development environment, participating in team meetings and development planning activities. Requirements: 1–3 years of professional experience in front-end development, with hands-on experience using React.js. Good knowledge of JavaScript and fundamental front-end development concepts. Experience working with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data. Understanding of component-based development and state management concepts in React. Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. Basic understanding of web application performance, debugging, and testing practices. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and interest in developing software solutions in a complex enterprise environment. Good command of English. Nice to Have: Familiarity with TypeScript. Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or similar tools. Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks and libraries, such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress. Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Exposure to enterprise applications, financial services, or large-scale transformation projects.
