Job Title: Scrum Master – Retirement Benefits Location: Piscataway, NJ Hybrid Experience: 8–10 Years W2 contract only (All visa's Except H1B) (Must have: Retirement Benefits domain) Job Descriptio n: We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with 8–10 years of overall IT experience and a strong background in th e Retirement Benefits doma in. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in leading Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and driving successful delivery of enterprise applications supporting retirement and pension service Key Responsibilities Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Ensure remediation backlogs are groomed, prioritized, and aligned with agreed milestones. Track sprint progress, velocity, burndown, and remediation throughput. Coordinate activities across CloudOps, Infrastructure Engineering, DBA teams etc.. Identify, track, and escalate blockers impacting vulnerability remediation. Manage cross-team dependencies and ensure timely resolution. Facilitate risk reviews and mitigation planning. Produce weekly and monthly dashboards. Track KPIs and Milestone Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in IT services or consulting preferably in production support Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related discipline. 5+ years of Scrum Master experience. Experience managing Agile delivery for Infrastructure, Security, or Technology Operations programs. Strong understanding of vulnerability management lifecycle. Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or equivalent tools. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or equivalent certification. Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools. Familiarity with AWS cloud environments Key Responsibiliti es: Serve as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Coach Agile teams on Scrum principles, Agile best practices, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Development teams to ensure successful delivery of business objectives. Remove team impediments, manage dependencies, and proactively address project risks. Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, and Agile metrics while ensuring timely delivery. Coordinate releases and support production deployments. Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams and promote a high-performing Agile culture. Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize product backlogs and align deliverables with business goals. Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates. Ensure compliance with organizational Agile standards and governan ce. Required Ski lls: 8–10 years of overall IT experience with at least 4–5 years as a Scrum Master. Strong experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and Agile project delivery. Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile management tools. Experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment. Excellent facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills. Strong understanding of SDLC, release management, and Agile metrics. Experience working with distributed and offshore te ams. Domain Experience (Mandato ry): Hands-on experience in the Retirement Benefits domain. Knowledge of retirement products such as 401(k), Defined Benefit (DB), Defined Contribution (DC), Pension Administration, Retirement Plans, Benefits Administration, and Wealth/Retirement Serv ices. Experience working with financial services, retirement recordkeeping, or pension administration projects is highly prefer red. Preferred Qualificati ons: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master certification. Experience with SAFe Agile framework. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or Retirement Benefits organizations is a plus.
