Cloud Software Engineer

We are working with a premier technology integrator providing full life cycle services and solutions in technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise information technology markets. This organization is dedicated to redefining ingenuity through deep customer and domain knowledge, enabling the delivery of systems engineering and integration offerings for large, complex projects, particularly supporting national security clients. The Role Design, build, and maintain modern, cloud-native applications and tools to expand and accelerate research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E). Collaborate with senior software engineers to develop and deploy cloud-native applications and microservices on AWS. Maintain well-documented, formatted, and version-controlled code, participating in code reviews. Develop custom APIs and microservices, including containerization, and create code to process data in relational and NoSQL databases. Facilitate seamless code promotion from development to production by resolving technical issues. Contribute to implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines, following DevSecOps best practices. What You'll Need Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with 2+ years of experience, or MS (4 years experience in lieu of degree). Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Strong experience with Java Spring Boot and at least one other language (e.g., GO, Python). Strong experience using AWS CLI, AWS SDK, and deploying/configuring software on AWS cloud services. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, ECS, and databases like AWS RDS, AWS DynamoDB, or PostgreSQL.
