DevOps Engineer (Embedded Systems) | Porto/Lisboa

We would like to meet a Senior DevOps Engineer (Embedded Systems) for a project in Porto, Coimbra, Lisbon or Viseu! This role requires solid experience in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and test automation, as well as the ability to build and evolve the delivery platform for software running on embedded and real-time systems, from emulators to real hardware. Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain declarative CI/CD pipelines with reusable workflows, matrix builds and immutable artifact registration. Implement Infrastructure as Code and GitOps reconciliation, with immutable infrastructure and auto-provisioned environments. Configure automated test pyramids and fail-fast quality gates on emulators and real hardware (HIL test benches). Build real-time system monitoring dashboards and project maturity progress views. Implement canary and A/B deployments (including OTA) with automatic rollback. Ensure software supply chain security and auditable releases. Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes, using metrics and data-driven experimentation. Required Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, at Senior or Lead level. CI/CD and pipeline orchestration with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Nexus and Artifactory. Infrastructure as Code and GitOps with OpenTofu/Terraform and Ansible. Test and quality automation with SonarQube, pytest, QEMU, HIL test benches and OWASP ZAP. Observability and telemetry with Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry and eBPF. Progressive delivery and security: A/B OTA, SAST/SCA, SBOMs and IEC 62443. Good level of English. Nice to Have: Embedded Linux builds with Yocto or Buildroot. Real-time firmware pipelines with Zephyr RTOS. VM image pipelines with Packer, VMware and KVM. Database change management with Flyway or Liquibase. Lean methodologies (Deming PDCA/PDSA) and DORA metrics.
