DevOps Engineer / Trading / Philadelphia Area / Up to $300,000 - $325,000 TC About the company Our client is a strategic subsidiary of one of the world's largest and most respected trading firms. The business runs its own trading strategies, combining the pace and ownership of a small team with the infrastructure and backing of a Tier 1 trading firm. The role The team is looking for a DevOps Engineer to take ownership of how its systems are built, deployed and run. The infrastructure is entirely cloud based on Azure, and you'll play a lead role in shaping it, working closely with the Engineers in other offices and partnering with developers and traders across the business. What you'll do Lead deployments across the Azure environment, from release planning to production rollout Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let engineers ship quickly and safely Build internal tools and automation in Python to improve reliability, visibility and developer productivity Manage infrastructure as code, keeping environments consistent, reproducible and secure Own monitoring, alerting and incident response for systems that support 24/7 trading Help define processes and best practices as the platform and team grow What they're looking for 3+ years of experience in DevOps, platform or infrastructure engineering Strong hands-on experience with Azure Strong Python skills, with a track record of building your own tools rather than relying on off-the-shelf solutions Experience with new build-outs: standing up environments, pipelines or processes from scratch Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform or Bicep), containers and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes/AKS) A strong ownership mindset and the ability to work autonomously in a small team Nice to have Experience in trading, fintech or another environment where latency or uptime is critical Exposure to digital assets or blockchain infrastructure Cloud security and compliance experience What's on offer Total compensation of $300,000 to $325,000, including a performance-based annual bonus Relocation support Ownership and impact in a small team, with the resources of a Tier 1 trading firm Applicants must be authorised to work in the US.
