Staff Software Engineer - Python A frontier AI startup backed by $170m in funding is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to build the distributed backend systems powering autonomous coding agents. The team includes alumni from OpenAI, Google Research, Microsoft AI, and NASA, combining deep foundation model work with serious CS research in formal verification. They’re building agents that modernize, translate, and secure enterprise codebases, particularly for businesses operating at the edge where performance, security, and provable correctness are critical. This is a hands-on, deeply technical position focused on architecting distributed systems for autonomous agents and building high-performance backend services in Python.
