What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in software development. Strong proficiency in Java, OOP, design patterns, and enterprise-grade services. Experience with versioned REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. Expertise in TDD, automated unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), and API contract testing. Hands-on experience with cloud service integration (serverless, API gateway, Kafka) and production-grade algorithm/data-structure engineering. Ability to build responsive web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and frameworks like Angular JS or React. Proficiency in SQL-based data modeling, querying, and database engineering. Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes) and source code management (Git, SVN). Knowledge of large-scale production observability (Splunk, New Relic) and schema-driven integration (XML, JSON, OpenAPI).
