Senior Frontend Developer - EV-Charging - North Macedonia Location: Skopje Contract Type: Permanent About the company A rapidly growing EV charging technology company is hiring a Senior Frontend Developer to help develop its products and support a more sustainable future. Its cloud platform serves business customers across residential, workplace, and commercial charging environments, providing a dependable and scalable solution for a broad range of EV charging needs. Previous knowledge of electric vehicles or charging infrastructure is not required. What matters is a passion for software development and creating intuitive products for a large market. Responsibilities: You will take ownership of frontend development, with considerable freedom to shape your work and responsibility for its quality. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with the development team to build and operate a secure, resilient, scalable, and adaptable platform. Creating reusable code, components, and libraries that support future development. Maintaining clean code and a high level of automated test coverage. Helping plan and deliver new features for EV charging and e-mobility services. Contributing to wider development projects, many of which receive funding through pan-European EU programmes. What you’ll bring At least seven years of professional web development experience, ideally including the development and maintenance of large-scale Angular applications. Extensive practical experience with Angular, including standalone components, Signals, dependency injection, routing, and forms. Strong skills in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and responsive web development. A thorough understanding of RxJS and reactive programming. Experience using Angular Material or comparable UI component libraries. Experience writing unit and integration tests, alongside a solid understanding of Git and CI/CD workflows. A strong grasp of clean code practices, SOLID principles, design patterns, and software architecture. The ability to design components that are reusable, maintainable, and clearly structured. Experience connecting frontend applications to REST APIs and backend services. An excellent understanding of UX and UI principles. Experience developing and maintaining a design system or component library. Excellent written and spoken English. Additional experience that would be valuable Working with Nx and monorepo environments. Developing with Ionic and/or Capacitor. Using WebSockets or other technologies that support real-time functionality. Improving the performance of Angular applications. Maintaining and evolving legacy codebases.
